COMPETITION IN BUSINESS
Everything in life is based on competition, one that will never come to an end, neither you nor I can end it however hard we dare to, instead we only learn to cope with it and adapt to it in one way or the other. Competition prevails in almost every other area in life but in a unique way that is hardly comprehensible. Let us look at competition in various aspects in life and also in a few sectors; these sectors include:
• Business
• Relationships
• Jobs
Importance of competition in business
In any business, competition is inevitable in every other aspect; from websites to industries, from hospitals to schools and from sales to services. Each and everyone want to always have the best to offer than any other competing business there is in the market. Competition in business is healthy in a way that it is mutual to both the producer and the consumer since;
• It helps in creating loyalty between both the parties
• Highly quality goods are produced due to healthy and effective competition.
• It leads to more customers flocking in an area thereby generating sales, which is always what we highly appreciate in any business venture.
Coping up with competition in business
Take it easy when one out competes you, sit down and relax, do not let yourself be stressed up or disturbed by it, do not criticize yourself for it, and simply take it as a simple slap in the face, one that you never cared about. Assume that you deliberately used the wrong strategy that led to your downfall. Think deeply and come up with something that will make you a winner next time. You never lost because you were not good at what you do, no, may be it’s because you assumed that you were the best and decided to go along with the action that made you to be out competed.
Look at the small birds of the air, hear them sing and flap their wings above us and on trees, watch them going for a hunt in gardens and in holes, in oceans ad rivers, streams and homesteads inclusive. Millions of birds feed on grains, others in fishes, others in insects only for the small birds to be fed on by the bigger birds yet they survive and manage to multiply in bigger swarms that we can’t dare imagine of. This is because they have effectively mastered the art of survival which means that they have successfully adapted to their surrounding habitat. The same applies to us humans in business. We need to survive in the business world, survival and success come from hard work, if you have worked hard and haven’t made it, it’s because you haven’t mastered your destined art of survival, and it’s outside there waiting for you to make a move at it.
NB
What I am saying is that if you know of a way to sustain yourself from competition in business, use it provided that you are doing things the right way and aren’t breaking any rules
